Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Trade Node ("we", "us", "our") is a business trade operations platform for distributors, traders and manufacturers. It is an initiative by Genisys, powered by GNX AI. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the Trade Node platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Where your business runs Trade Node self-hosted on its own infrastructure, your business controls that installation and the data in it; this policy applies to our website and to deployments we host and operate.
Who we are
Trade Node is operated as an initiative of Genisys (genisys.ind.in), with technology powered by GNX AI (gnx.co.in). The platform serves businesses in India engaged in industrial and wholesale trade — rate management, orders, credit control, dispatch, GST billing, inventory, payroll and books of account.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to respond to you and to run the service:
- Enquiry details — the name, business name, contact number, email and message you submit through the demo or contact form on this website.
- Account data — when a business subscribes, the user accounts its administrator creates (staff, dealers, customers): name, contact details, role and login activity.
- Business records — the operational data a business and its users enter into the platform (orders, invoices, payments, stock movements, attendance, payroll and similar records). We process these on behalf of that business.
- Technical and security data — IP address, browser type, timestamps and audit-trail events, used to secure accounts and investigate issues.
- Support data — the messages you share with us when raising a support request.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data to anyone.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this website.
- We do not require sensitive personal data (such as biometrics) to use the platform.
How we use information
We use enquiry details to respond to you and arrange demos. We use account data, business records and technical data to provide, operate, secure and improve the service — including the audit trails and tamper-evident books of account that are part of the product itself. We may send service notices about your subscription or the platform. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who your data belongs to
Business records entered into Trade Node belong to the business that subscribes (our customer). We process them under that business’s instructions in order to provide the service. If you are a staff member, dealer or customer of a business that uses Trade Node, that business is the primary controller of your data within the platform — please direct requests to it first; we will assist it in honouring them.
Sharing
We share information only with infrastructure and service providers needed to run the service (such as hosting and communications providers) under confidentiality obligations, and with statutory or judicial authorities where the law requires it. We never sell it.
Hosting and data residency
Trade Node runs either on managed cloud infrastructure operated by us, or self-hosted on your own servers. On self-hosted deployments your data resides entirely on your infrastructure, and we access it only if you grant access for support.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Signing in to the platform uses a session cookie strictly for authentication. Basic first-party usage statistics (such as page views) may be recorded to improve the site.
Retention and deletion
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Platform data is retained for the duration of the business’s subscription and a reasonable export window afterwards. Some records (for example GST documents) carry statutory retention periods under Indian law; deletion requests are honoured subject to those duties.
Security
The platform is built around role-based access control, per-business data isolation, audit logs, encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and tamper-evident books in which corrections are made by reversal entries rather than silent edits. Managed cloud deployments include routine backups. See our Data Protection & Security Policy for detail.
Your rights and grievances
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to us through the contact form on this website. Our practices are designed to align with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules under it. Grievances are acknowledged and addressed within reasonable timelines.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
