White-Label & Contract Manufacturing module — Trade Node
Make for every client brand — to the agreed spec, recipe and quantity.
Contract manufacturing brings someone else’s brand, specification and material into your factory without making them your stock or your sale. This module keeps the agreed pack and approved formulation attached to the run and finished lot, tracks client-supplied material on its own ledger, and follows each order from quantity promised through production, delivery, reconciliation and conversion billing.
What it does for you
- Each brand stays with its owner: Tie a client-owned brand to the account you manufacture for, with the current specification reference, contact and active status available to the team handling the job.
- The lot keeps the agreed pack: Pack size, case quantity, declared MRP, label claims, artwork reference and version, and shelf life are set per SKU and frozen onto every lot produced to that specification.
- Know which recipe made the run: Numbered formulation versions carry their effective date, change note and approval; the approved version becomes the live recipe and follows the contract run into its finished lot.
- Client material never becomes yours: Goods received on the client’s challan stay on a separate receipt, issue, wastage and return ledger with a live balance, never entering or being valued as your inventory.
- One order holds the whole agreement: Brand, product, quantity, conversion rate, supply responsibility, delivery terms and due date sit together while production runs and produced, delivered and billed quantities accumulate against the job.
- Reconcile first, bill within the cap: Compare supplied material with consumption, wastage, returns and balance by product, then raise the GST job-work conversion invoice without ever billing more units than the order allows.
What's inside — 6 sub-modules
Buying White-Label & Contract Manufacturing switches on these sub-modules in your Trade Node portal:
- Client Brands: Keep every client-owned brand against the account you manufacture for, with its specification reference, contact and active status. Staff can see whose brand they are handling without treating it as one of your own.
- Pack & Label Specs: Set the pack size, units per case, declared MRP, label claims, artwork reference and version, and shelf life for each SKU under a client brand. The chosen specification is frozen onto every finished lot, preserving exactly what was agreed for that production.
- Versioned Formulations: Keep each recipe as numbered versions with an effective date, change note and approval. Approval updates the live recipe, while every contract run and finished lot retain the exact version used.
- Client-Supplied Material: Record material received on the client’s challan in a separate ledger covering receipts, issues to runs, wastage and returns, with a live balance by client and product. It is tracked without entering or being valued as your own inventory.
- Contract Manufacturing Orders: Capture the agreed brand, product, quantity, per-unit conversion rate, material and packaging responsibility, delivery terms and due date in one job order. Raise production runs against it and track produced, delivered and billed quantities as work progresses.
- Reconciliation & Conversion Billing: Reconcile each product supplied by the client against what was consumed, wasted, returned and remains, then raise a GST conversion-charge invoice under the job-work SAC. Cumulative billed quantity is hard-capped at the order quantity, and client-branded lots cannot leave through ordinary sales as your own stock.
