One platform for the whole trading business
Rates, orders, dispatch, stock, GST billing, books, payroll, dealer portals and your own website — modular, multi-business, and built for how Indian B2B actually trades.
- 20 modules to switch on
- 81 sub-modules inside them
- 16 trades served
- 1 subscription per business
Most trading firms are running on four systems that never agree
- Rates on WhatsApp: The day’s price goes out on broadcast, three dealers reply late, and nobody can prove afterwards what rate was quoted to whom.
- Orders on paper and phone calls: Credit limits get checked by memory, if at all, and the salesman finds out about the outstanding when the payment doesn’t come.
- Stock in a spreadsheet: Godown-wise stock is a file one person maintains. Batch, expiry and which lot went to which customer are somewhere in a register.
- Books at the CA’s office: Vouchers travel by courier once a month, so the owner learns what the business earned six weeks after it earned it.
Nothing here is broken enough to replace on its own. Together they cost you a full-time job.
Buy the platform, switch on the modules the trade needs
Trade Node is one system with the whole trading flow inside it — but you do not take all of it on day one. Core modules are free with the subscription; the rest switch on the moment you need them and switch off when you don’t.
- One record, end to end: An order becomes a dispatch, the dispatch becomes an invoice, the invoice lands in the ledger and the books — without anyone re-typing a quantity.
- Modular, not monolithic: A steel distributor and a spice miller run the same platform with different modules on. You pay for the ones you turn on, monthly, in ₹.
- Multi-business by design: Run two or three firms under one login, each with its own books, numbering, staff access and website.
- Cloud or your own server: Take the managed cloud, or self-host where your auditor insists the data stays in the building — the modules, infrastructure duties and support terms are settled for the edition you pick.
What comes with the platform itself
These are not add-ons. Every business gets them with the subscription.
- Owner dashboard and in-app notifications
- Staff accounts with role-based access (view or full, per module)
- Dealer and buyer portal logins for approved parties
- Your published business website with enquiry capture
- Company settings, branding and document numbering
- Automated data backups
Staff accounts and dealer portal logins are included rather than metered, so you are never deciding who is worth a seat.
The selling desk
Publish the day’s rates once and let approved buyers order against them. Orders arrive with the party’s outstanding and credit limit on the same screen, quotes come off the same queue as website enquiries, and dealer schemes track their own slabs.
- Trade module: Daily rates, orders, quotes and dealer schemes on one desk.
- Catalog module: One product master behind rates, stock and billing.
- Work Management module: Leads, follow-ups, tasks and projects for the whole team.
- Partners module: Dealer and customer accounts with credit limits and approvals.
- Engagement module: Circulars, support tickets and team chat that stay on record.
Your dealers stop calling to ask today’s rate, and your staff stop re-keying orders from WhatsApp.
The money
GST invoices raised from the dispatch that actually left the godown, ledgers a salesman can read out on the phone, purchases and bills with TDS, and full double-entry books underneath with maker-checker approvals and locked periods.
- Finance module: GST invoices, ledgers, payments and credit notes in one place.
- Insights module: Reports, exports and a who-did-what security console.
- ERP module: Purchases, full books and an enterprise-grade finance close.
- Integrations module: Tally export, GST portal sync and partner APIs.
One set of books that the bank, the buyer and the department can all be shown without a night of reconciliation.
Goods, gates and the shop floor
Dispatch with vehicle, transporter and e-way bill detail; live stock across godowns; batch and lot traceability with shelf life, lab release and recall trace; weighbridge intake that grades, prices and settles at the gate; work orders, contract jobs and export consignments.
- Operations module: Dispatch, inventory, logistics and the gate in one flow.
- Factory module: Recipes, work orders and machines on the shop floor.
- Contracts module: Tender and contract jobs, from work order to final bill.
- Batch & Quality module: Every lot traceable — from goods in to the customer who received it.
- Farm & Mill Intake module: Weigh it, grade it, price it, settle it — the gate to the books in one line.
- White-Label & Contract Manufacturing module: Make for every client brand — to the agreed spec, recipe and quantity.
- Export Desk module: Export orders, foreign-currency invoices, packing lists and bank realisation in one place.
- Capital Equipment & Service module: Configured quotations, commissioning, installed base, maintenance contracts and service calls for the machines you sell.
Every kilo that moves leaves a record you can walk backwards from.
The people on the payroll
Employees, badge and face attendance, leave, payroll runs, and the statutory weight that follows — PF and PPF contribution runs with UAN, gratuity and bonus, group medical and accident cover — all posting into the same books.
- HR module: Employees, badge attendance, leave and payroll runs.
- Staff Benefits module: PF, PPF and staff insurance, handled like the books depend on it.
Payroll stops being a spreadsheet somebody guards on a personal laptop.
Intelligence that removes typing
Photograph a supplier bill and get a draft purchase order. Mark attendance from a face. Log a truck from its number plate. Ask the in-app assistant how a screen works, and let the website assistant answer visitors and capture the enquiry.
- AI module: Vision AI for documents, faces and plates — plus a built-in assistant.
AI here is measured in keystrokes not typed, not in demos.
Dealers serve themselves, buyers find you first
Two surfaces come with the platform: a portal for the parties you already trade with, and a public website for the ones who haven’t called yet.
- Dealer and buyer portal: Approved parties sign in to see today’s published rates, place orders against their credit limit, watch their scheme slab, read their ledger and download their documents.
- Self-registration with approval: New buyers register from your website into a queue. Staff verify and approve, and portal access opens — no account created by anyone but you.
- Your published business website: A themed site per business with your products, media and contact detail, on your own domain, with enquiries landing in the same quote queue staff already work.
- A website assistant on duty: Visitors ask what you make and whether you deliver to their district; the assistant answers from your content and captures the enquiry.
Compliance built into the flow, not bolted on after
- GST and e-invoicing: Invoices with HSN and tax breakup raised from the dispatch that left the yard, e-invoice IRN with QR where turnover requires it, credit notes tied to the original invoice.
- E-way bill and the road: Vehicle, transporter and e-way bill details sit on the dispatch record, with the trip tracked from loading to delivery.
- TDS on the purchase side: Supplier bills deduct TDS where sections apply, including lower-deduction certificates with live headroom against the certificate limit.
- Returns and statements: GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet with last year alongside — exportable when the CA or the bank asks.
- Books that resist tampering: Closed periods lock, corrections happen by reversal entry rather than silent edit, and sensitive actions leave an audit trail with a name against them.
Private by default — including from crawlers
Everything past the sign-in screen belongs to one business and stays that way.
- Per-business isolation: Every record is scoped to the business that owns it, and every request is checked against the business it claims to be acting for.
- Access by role and by module: Staff get view or full access per module. A godown clerk sees stock; only the people you nominate see margins, payroll or the books.
- Nothing behind the login is indexable: The application, the dealer portals and the APIs are excluded from search engines and AI crawlers by robots rules, page-level directives and response headers — and the real boundary is authentication, not a polite request.
- Encrypted transport and guarded sessions: HTTPS/TLS throughout, passwords stored only as secure hashes, sessions held server-side with sign-in history, active-session view and force sign-out.
- Backups and a way out: Managed deployments back up automatically; your reports, statements and Tally exports are available the whole time, so leaving is never held hostage.
Written for 16 trades, not for “businesses”
The platform is generic; the language, the documents and the module mix are not. Each trade gets its own fit — the intake, the units, the paperwork and the questions that trade actually asks.

One subscription per business, add-ons by the month
- Free core, paid add-ons: The platform subscription carries the free core modules. Paid modules are priced monthly in ₹, ex-GST, and shown live on the pricing page and on each module page.
- Not priced per person: Staff accounts, dealer logins and buyer logins come with the platform, so adding the godown clerk to the system costs nothing.
- On and off in the same afternoon: Buy a module from your account and it activates the moment payment goes through. Cancel and it runs to the end of the paid period.
- Deployment your way: Managed cloud, or self-hosted on your own infrastructure — modules, updates and support terms are confirmed per edition before you buy.
From signup to a real invoice, without a project plan
- 1 · Sign up and describe the business: Onboarding asks what you trade, which state you bill from and how you number documents, then sets the platform up around those answers.
- 2 · Rehearse on a demo business: A fully populated demo business ships with the platform — orders, dispatches, invoices, books and payroll — so your team learns on realistic data instead of an empty screen.
- 3 · Bring your masters in: Products, parties, opening balances and opening stock come across, with imports checked before they post.
- 4 · Go live where it hurts most: Most firms start with rates and orders or with billing, then add stock, books and payroll module by module as confidence builds.
No implementation partner is required, and no phase gate stops you invoicing.
We are not the right answer for everyone
Odoo reaches further if you need discrete manufacturing, ecommerce and POS in one system and can fund an implementation. Zoho is excellent when finance and CRM lead and you are happy licensing every employee. TranZact is focused and quick if the problem stops at the factory gate.
